Remembrance 2022

You are welcome to join us any of our acts of remembrance, whether or not you usually attend church.

On Friday 11th November, there will be a short Act of Remembrance (at the War memorial) beginning at 10:50am.

And on Sunday 13th November, there will be a fuller Service of Remembrance beginning at 10:30am – followed by laying of wreaths on behalf of the community.
For those who cannot attend church, a recording of this Service will be posted here later on Sunday.

At St Catherine’s the Remembrance Service will be at 3pm on Sunday 13th.

Commemoration Service – 18 September

On the eve of the funeral of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,

our principal Service of Commemoration will be held at Wilton Parish Church at 10.45am.

Wilton’s Mayor and Town Councillors will be in attendance

and all members of the community are welcome to come and pay their respects.

The Book of Condolence is also available to all,

and will remain in place (inside the main entrance to the church) until Monday 19 September.

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

In addition to Community Celebrations in Wilton and Netherhampton there will be a special Thanksgiving Service at the Parish Church at 10.45am on Sunday 5 June.

We would love to see any members of our community at this “all-age” Celebration.

After the service there will be cakes and refreshments, and you are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the area around the church, joining with families across the country who will be taking part in the national Big Lunch.

Please do come and celebrate together!
