Bell Ringers

The Wilton bells are rung weekly for Sunday Parish Eucharist; also at weddings and on other festive occasions. There are six bells in the ‘Campanile’, which were cast in 1998 at the Whitechapel Bell foundry. Ringers are affiliated to the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers.

The tower captain is always on the look-out for new recruits, so if you think you might be interested in learning, or returning to ringing, please do get in touch. Visiting ringers are also welcomed. St. Catherine’s Church, Netherhampton has three bells and these are rung before the service on the third Sunday of each month.
