Our Churches

The lovely church of St. Catherine’s has its foundations in the thirteenth century, although most of the present building was erected in the nineteenth century. It is situated in the small village of Netherhampton.

The interior of St. Catherine’s is beautifully kept and offers a warm and attractive setting: well worth a visit. There are three bells in the small tower, the exterior of which has recently been restored. The wooden pantiles have been replaced and the golden cockerel weather vane, now shines once again in all his glory.

Services are held on most Sundays – with special services at Harvest, Remembrance, St Catherine’s Day (in November) and Christmas. We also welcome enquiries for Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and Thanksgiving services. Other services include the Easter and Christmas celebrations of the village nursery school and Prayer Book Society events.
